This easy to grow perennial is great for a splash of color almost all year round. Unlike the "Millifolium" varieties Red Velvet's foliage is more compact and tight. Flowers are a solid primary red that start in late Spring and will go until late Fall. Cut back hard or mow any time it starts to brown out. Yarrows can also be used as a grass replacement. Semi-drought tolerant once established. Attracts bees and butterflies.
