This ginger has vibrant elongated two-tone dark red and green leaves most of the year (may be deciduous in colder climates). Morning sun/afternoon shade is ideal for this perennial, divide or prune to shape. Gingers are semi-drought tolerant once established or can take regular garden water. Also make a great cut flower. Cut back hard in early Spring and late Fall.
