This variegated shell ginger has vibrant elongated yellow stripped leaves all year long. Beautiful white and pink buds appear first then open to a fragrant yellow tubular flower with pink spotted throats flowers once mature in Summer. Morning sun/afternoon shade is ideal for this perennial, divide or prune to shape. Gingers are semi-drought tolerant once established or can take regular garden water. Also make a great cut flower. Cut back hard in early Spring and late Fall.
