This Cereus is great for any drought tolerant landscapes or eatable gardens. Tall, cylindrical blue green columns can get up to 8 feet tall and up to 10 inches wide creating a tree like shape over time. Long white fragrant flowers appear in Summer that open at night and turn into an eatable fruit by Fall. Try not to water too much in winter to prevent root rot. Great for xeroscapes, hillsides and large container plantings. Can tolerate colder climates and is fire resistant.
