This rare, dwarf Cereus is great for any drought tolerant landscape or unusual container gardens. Tall, cylindrical crested columns can get up to 8 feet tall and up to 10 inches wide creating a tree like shape over time. Long tubular white fragrant flowers appear in Summer that open at night and turn into an eatable fruit by Fall. Try not to water too much in winter to prevent root rot. Great for xeroscapes, hillsides and large container plantings. Can tolerate colder climates and is fire resistant.
