This sterile variegated Pampass grass is great for adding movement to any dry or moist garden. Thin lime green and yellow striped leaves form a fountain shape up to 5 feet tall and wide. Leaves can be sharp so not recommended near walkways. Soft feather plumes on tall stalks appear in Fall. Full sun to half day sun is ideal. Drought tolerant in the ground once established or can take regular garden water.  Prune out old leaves and bloom spikes to shape. Frost hardy in colder climates and makes a great barrier plant.
