This small red leaf bromeliad is great for poor soils. Short red, silver backed leaves are up all year round forming a small grove overtime. Partial Shade to half day sun is ideal for this bromeliad. White and navy blue star flowers appear in the centers in late Winter to Spring. Great for drought tolerant, shade or container gardens. Attracts hummingbirds.
