This easy to grow, evergreen perennial is great for poor, dry soils. Variegated Iris like leaves are evergreen growing up to 4 feet in height. Flowers are tiny blue and white bells on pingulant dark green stems. Blooms appear in late Spring and in Fall and will turn into an interesting colbalt blue berry. Full sun to partial shade is ideal. Drought tolerant in the ground once established. Divide out clumps over time. Cut off old flowers and leaves through out the year. Deer tolerant. Caution: berries can be poisonous if ingested.
