This smaller growing Coral Tree is ideal for drought tolerant or xeriscape gardens. Large red tubular flowers on 2 foot stalks cover the tree in mid Spring through the Winter and attract multiple birds. Tree can reach up to 20 feet in height or can be pruned to stay smaller. Deciduous in Winter and will produce lots of new growth by Spring. Prune off old wood once flowers and leaves appear in early Summer. Extremely drought tolerant in the ground once established. Tree does have surface roots, not recommended near walkways or foundations.
