Pincushion cactus are commonly found in drought tolerant container gardens. Sea green bases covered short white to silver thorns. Plants form low multi-head mounds over time. Small burgundy flowers appear on and off through out the year around the crowns once they mature then turn to an eatable fruit. Great for xeriscapes, hillsides and container plantings.
