This easy to grow perennial is a great ground cover for erosion control. Leaves turn from a deep green to a burgundy red in the heat. Semi fast growing and everywhere it trails it will root if soil is around so great as a ground cover. Small white flowers appear in late Spring continuing through the summer attracting hummingbirds, bees and butterflies. Drought tolerant in the ground once established and can tolerate some frost in colder climates. Good for hanging pots.
