This unusual column is great for any drought tolerant landscape or unusual container gardens. Tall, cylindrical  columns can get up to 10 feet tall and up to 20 inches wide creating a tree like shape over time. Spines are thick, dark orange fish hooks. Small tubular magenta flowers appear on top of crowns once mature. Try not to water too much in winter to prevent root rot. Great for xeriscapes, hillsides and large container plantings. Can tolerate colder climates and is fire resistant.
