This Salvia is great for dry poor soil conditions. Deep red tubular flowers on black stems appear in Spring and continue until late Fall. Great container or garden plant for full sun to partial shade. Attracts hummingbirds and is drought tolerant in the ground once established. Prune hard in early Spring and late Fall to shape. Light pruning through the year will help produce more blooms. Deer tolerant.
