This Mallow relative is great for poor, dry soils. Full sun (4 to 6 hours min.) to half day sun is ideal for this perennial. Bright orange flowers appear in Spring and continue to Fall. Drought tolerant in the ground once established or can take regular garden water. Prune hard in early Spring and late Fall to shape, deciduous in Winter. Attracts hummingbirds, bees and butterflies.
